Since there is no molding around our doorways, we had to get creative to hang the bouncy chair. Two door hooks, a piece of rope found on the side of a bridge, and a piece of cardboard later, it was ready to go:

On Friday we walked along the old railway track which is now converted to gardens and has a forestry area along it. We call this our ‘bird walk’ as there are a lot of pigeons there and August likes watching them:
We then stopped at Taco Rico – the only restaurant whose flyer/door magnet We have ever paid attention to. They have very Korean-used burritos: rice instead of beans, cream cheese, cabbage, etc. the tortilla is pretty authentic though.

August was playing with a straw, and at one point jerked his arm up as I was drinking from a cup. Chilsing cider (basically 7UP) slashed over the both of us. We were a bit sticky for the rest of the trip. Alas, that wasn’t caught on video, but here he is playing with a straw:
We then walked around the campus of the Korea National University of Science and Technology. We saw banners for an art exhibit called Art Box. With the help of a couple very helpful students, we found it. August loved looking at the little figures and pictures, as you can see in this video:
This was my favorite piece:

Well, it is more of a towel for now. But the bathrobe his aunt Theresa made for him is pretty awesome:

And he will grow into it soon enough…
He’s been working on this for awhile now, but this is the first good video I’ve gotten of it:
And lounging around on me:

Seoul Forest is the largest park, I believe, in Seoul, and probably the coolest. It has everything.
The highlights included:
Meeting, feeding, petting, and getting licked by the deer in the deer park:
Eating an actual apple for the first time:
Watching the fountains:
Visiting the butterfly and insect houses:
And hanging out with my parents:

The limbs and hair move, making a nice clicking noise. And apparently it tastes good. This was actually something that a coworker bought at a second hand store last year and we had put in a shelf and forgotten. Until today.
