been awhile sine I have posted a photo of the two of us. These are from earlier this evening…

My favorite has been the 3-4 times August has fallen asleep in the bathroom.  (I put him down there when I needed to wash my face, put in contacts, etc.)

August now enjoys the rocking chair.  He also LOVES talking to & hitting his origami cranes–and, of course, reading with Daddy. (Click on the picture.)

This is one of August’s friends (the first one, actually, since I gave him the rabbit at the hospital) keeping him entertained…

August is officially a citizen of the Unites States! With all the benefits and baggage that that entails. Woohoo! This is one snazzy document, with fancy paper and security features. It is what officially declares him a U.S. citizen:

His social security card and passport card will take longer to arrive.
