It was rainy and dreary, so I was looking for a way to get out of the apartment but to do something indoors. We have a gift certificate to a department store and I’ve been meaning to make it to one of the branches to see if there was anything we could get for August.
So, August and I hopped on the subway and headed north as far as we could. Transferred, and headed an additional five stops north.
We arrived only to find that the department store was closed that day.
We still had fun walking around the area, and August had fun talking to people in the subway.
