Happy one month, August!
It has been a wonderful (and tiring) first month. These videos really reflect how quickly the first thirty-one days have flown by, one second or one photo a day…
Drinking from a bottle in the park
The first time I’ve got to feed him while we are out and about.

A couple short videos
The thinker…
With three of his friends…
Aghhh! Our favorite noise!
He originally only did this after sneezing. He now does it at other times, although not regularly.
Flickr, again…and Four Friends
August on Flickr has been updated again. And I changed the set so that you will see the newest photos first and don’t have to start at the beginning every time. You’re welcome.
Much more to come. I’ve only actually shared a few photos taken with the ‘good’ camera – 98% of it is from our iPhones. Also, Cherie gave us all of the photos and videos that she took, and I’ll be adding those at some point.
You can find August on Flickr. Here’s one of the photos you can find. I call it ‘Four Friends’. P.S. You’ll be more formally introduced to August’s friends in upcoming posts and, I’m sure, he’ll start talking about them on Twitter.

Hanging out with Oma
She’s back in Washington now, but we still have the memories…
August when he sleeps
A couple videos for you to give you a sense of what he is like when he sleeps…
A noisy sleeper…
Holding his hands while he sleeps. This is actually a very new thing that he’s only done a couple of times. Usually he holds his hands in little fists above his head while he sleeps…
Sad day: Saying bye to Oma
At about one we walked Cherie to the bus stop and saw her on her way. We hope she has a good flight and had fun with cousin Thatcher this coming week. He will probably seem huge compared to our August Zinn.

Lazy Poetry Saturday
Carly is asleep and August and I are hanging out. We were reading some Richard Hugo poetry since April is poetry month, and he is now asleep.
He likes sleeping here. Except when I have to sneeze or cough.

Then he rolled over on his own. This is apparently a thing now.

Yawn…
