Christmas in a can
Ryan enjoys trying the various cans of mysterious liquid here. This one was especially… interesting.

One of our favorite places is a little bakery on the first floor of our apartment building.

Staff Bonding

In addition to a many meetings before the start of school, we participated in several staff bonding activities. We “played baseball” (many of us didn’t know what we were doing), built pyramids, tossed large balls, and created the… sculptures… you see above. (Cassie – it reminded me of the sculptures we created out of recycled materials. Remember? We entered them into a contest and surprisingly did not win.)
The school also provided several wonderful dinners. Above is a picture of one of the buffets set up in the school lobby along with a picture Dr. Kim (the founder of the school) barbequing the meat for our dinner.
Out of the way, kids!

Carly decides to venture into the fountain. (It was pretty cool.)
English Science Park
This park is across the street from our apartment building. We walk through it to catch the bus to school. The top picture shows a super cool water fountain that kids play in (which makes us really jealous). The second one shows dinasours attacking our apartment building. The third shows how they labeled various things in the park in Korean and English.
